Art students cut hair for St. Baldrick's

Two of our art students Sheila Walsh and Anna Pietkiewicz raised funds and shaved their heads to help "conquer kids' cancer" at Sandburg's St. Baldrick's assembly. Sheila who raised over $345.00 cut her hair in honor of her neighbor, who is a survior of childhoood brain cancer, and her Great Aunt, who passed away after battling breast cancer. Anna raised over $340.00 and donated her ponytail to Pantene Beautiful Lengths who will take her hair and make wigs for those currently undergoing chemo treatments.
